Refund policy

All sales are final. There are no refunds. When you buy an apartment, a floor, an ad slab, or the rooftop billboard on Internet Apartment, that purchase cannot be reversed, cancelled, or exchanged once it is complete.

Why

What you are buying is a one-off, permanent claim on a specific spot in a fixed set of inventory. There are 91 apartments, six ad slabs, and one billboard, and there will never be more. The moment a purchase completes, that spot is taken off the market and marked with your name. It cannot be un-taken and resold, so it cannot be refunded.

Buy only what you are comfortable never getting back. Please treat the price as the full cost of a novelty, not an investment.

What you are not buying

• Any legal interest in real property, anywhere, of any kind.
• A security, share, token, or any financial instrument.
• A resale right. Ownership cannot be transferred or sold on.
• A guarantee that this website will exist forever. See the Terms.

The narrow exceptions

Two things are not covered by the no-refund rule, and I will make them right:

• Duplicate or failed charges. If you were charged more than once for the same item, or charged for a purchase that never actually granted you the item, email me and I will refund the difference.
• Rights you have by law. Nothing here removes a refund or cancellation right that applicable consumer law gives you and that cannot be waived by agreement. Where such a right applies, it wins over this policy.

Chargebacks

Please email me before raising a chargeback. A chargeback on a completed purchase will result in the item being reclaimed and returned to inventory, and your name removed from it.

Payments are processed by Dodo Payments, which acts as the merchant of record. Your card statement may show their name rather than mine.
